You guys? I like writing and I'm about to find out how much. There's this thing that goes down every November called National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel by November 30th. It's not a contest, just a challenge. I'm taking the challenge. My plan is to write 2,300 words a day, five days a week. I'm armed with an outline and a lot of coffee.
That's awesome, Lisa! I've done it the past two years - taking a break this year - and it's so fun. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteGreat news. I so enjoy reading your blog, and I'm glad to know you'll be writing more.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! You know I believe in you!
ReplyDeleteMy son is doing nanowrmo again this year. I'll just cheer the two of you on.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear about what happens/what you discover by the end of November.
ReplyDeleteExcited for everyone taking this on.
Good luck!
Write on, my sister. Right on. Just Write! It's just right! Right? Write. Right.

Wow! Go, Lisa, go!

A.
YOU GO GIRL! Proud of you! Write on!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. As someone finishing my master's thesis, I'm incredibly impressed and intimidated. For comparison ,my thesis is about 8k words, including references.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to stop speaking to allow for that kind of word count. My family would probably love it.
ReplyDeleteYes I'm doing it too. I'm trying to aim for 2000 words a day. I'm not really bothered it I don't complete it in time, but at least I'll be happy to say that I have tried. Maybe just maybe my inner novel will come out.
ReplyDeleteYes. You! Do it!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I succeeded at it once and it was so great, but I've never had the energy to try again since. Or maybe it's because I became a mom. Same thing..
ReplyDeleteI'm participating in this this month! Best of luck, I love your blog!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read. Please consider telling us about it.
