You Talking to Me?

 
"Miss Lew! Oh my gosh, I mean Mom. Mom! I called you my teacher's name."

"It happens."

"I've never done that before."

"It's not a big deal."

"It's kind of weird-ing me out, Miss Lew. I mean, Mom. I did it again! What's happening to me?"

  1. hahaha! Has the opposite happened yet? I've been called 'mom' by my students more times than I can count!

  2. I get called "Mom" a lot -- and by other teacher's names. I'm dreading the day when one of them calls me "Grandma." (Hasn't happened yet.)
