Time
I read somewhere, as we age the part of our brain that perceives the passage of time, changes. As our brains grow older, time seems to pass more quickly. This would explain how as a kid, summers seemed to last forever but now our own children appear to grow up over night.
Bob's thirteenth birthday was Sunday and my fifty-five-year-old brain is stunned. I know how time works, and yet. And yet.
Happy Birthday to Bob.
