A Mood

"Mom? I feel like junk."

"What's up, Boo Boo?"

"My nose is still stuffy and when you were gone today I missed you so much I was crying inside my mind for two hours but on the outside of my mind with my face I was eating popcorn and gummy bears and watching Star Wars 3-D so it was pretty okay but I still missed you anyway and I think my cough medicine is wearing off and do I have to go to school tomorrow?"

Poor baby. Good thing there was popcorn and gummies.

  2. Poor Bob. I'm often crying on the inside of my mind... and on the outside eating Thin Mints and not showering and watching Downton Abbey.

  3. Of course not, Bob. And here are some gummy bears and pop-corn to go with your vitamin C.

  4. OMG. I am crying inside my mind so hard today, that it's actually surprising that I'm not crying outside my face. I probably will be at some point. Luckily, this post made me laugh hard enough to put off the outside crying for a little while.

  6. I might be able to stop the antidepressants if I could do all that fun stuff outside my mind with my face. Or just look at your face. Yeah, that'd do it. PS: we just saw The Phantom Menace in 3D and would you believe it was the first time I saw it? The pod race was cool.
