"Hey, Mom? You know, I think Dad would make a good math teacher."
"Yeah? Why do you think so?"
"He's really good at numbers and adding them up."
"That's true."
"Mom, I think you would be a good writing teacher."
"Thanks, Bob. That means a lot to me."
"For sure, because you're good at making letters."
"Oh."
"Especially cursives."
Yeah, cursives can be hard... Love your blog BTW.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lindsay! xo
DeleteWell, the letters *are* the hard part. (I think you're really good at the words and sentences, too, btw.)

Thans, Anna. Backatcha! xo
DeleteNow you're just bragging, cursives lady!
ReplyDeleteIt's Pulitzer Prize winning penmanship. xo
DeleteCan't discount penmanship.
ReplyDeleteIt's everything, apparently. xoxo
DeleteBob's really got a handle on what's important in writing. I completely lost the ability to write legible cursive letters several years ago so I'm sitting here in awe that you've still got it going on.
