This Happened

Guys. This is me. In a magazine. What? I know. My story about switching over to raw-food-vegan eating is in this month's issue of Prevention Magazine. I won't tell you how long it took for the hair and makeup people to make me look "natural." My kitchen? It will never be this clean again. I had a great time and the Prevention people were all super nice. Most importantly, I get to share that turning around your health by changing what you put in your face is not only possible, it's not that hard.

Thanks for checking it out. Now go have a carrot.

  3. OMG! Lisa, that is the coolest thing ever!! One day I will give this thing a try, too. I think it's amazing. I'll just let you get another few months of posts under your belt so that I can be sure you have done ALL of the work for me.

  6. That is super cool. And I've been working as a private chef for a client suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and she is now pain free and off all those nasty meds on a lectin-free diet, but alas it's neither raw or vegan. It's working. (I had to look up lectins when we started.) It's true that a mostly raw diet filled with produce does produce radiant results.

  10. Wow. Congrats. I've done a lot of things, but I've never been featured in a magazine article before. (And I don't look as good as you do, either.) I stand in awe. :)

  11. Congratulations - that's wonderful!

And very inspiring. Because I realized that this weekend I must get back on eating better - it makes the difference between feeling crappy and feeling fine. I needn't go vegan (in fact that makes me feel crappy) or raw, but my own thing is no gluten, no sugar, primary focus on fresh produce. and now I feel inspiration from you - thanks!
