Aw. Made me think of the time we ate in a river-side place after a long boat ride and Owen was so tired but so hungry and he literally chewed his fried shrimp up and swallowed it with his eyes closed. Our babies...
Well...it IS a rest-aurant. Sweet boy...sweet dreams. May he never outgrow your lap. Have you ever read "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch? I tear up every time I read it to my kids.
To be young, when your world persective is blissfully small. When they grow up they might realize that the best thing about restaurants is that someone else does the dishes.
catching up on my reading. Came across this. It surprised me,by bringing tears to my eyes. My children are 10, 11 and 13. I'm aware of the fact that, soon, laying their head in my lap(in public) will not be ok.(for them) Made me a little sad. Enjoy!
Fries for a lap-nap? Good call, Bob.
ReplyDeleteHe knows how to drive a bargain.
DeleteWow. He must've been REALLY sleepy to give up the fries.
