Thanks A Lot, Katy Perry
"Why did you turn off that song, Mom?"
"I thought we should listen to a different radio station."
"Because the song said, 'There's a stranger in my bed'?"
"Yep."
"I know. I would be so worried if there was a stranger in my bed. That song is too scary."
"It is, Bob."

I miss Led Zep. They were such nice boys.

A.
I just like the picture.
ReplyDeleteI was about 20 before I actually thought about the lyrics to Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls."
ReplyDeleteI actually dislike Katy Perry quite a bit, but this reminds me: Rod Stewart's "Tonight's the Night"... Sheesh!
ReplyDeletePearl
LAUGHING OUT LOUD.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!
*reminds me of myself, happily bopping along to Foster The People's Pumped Up Kicks. From back seat, "err...mom? that's about shooting people?"
sorry.
i actually don't like katy perry. She's pretty and all, but the way she dresses and the meaning of most of her songs- eek! Good thing Bob didn't have to listen to the rest of that song.
ReplyDeleteGood call, Bob, that song is VERY scary.
ReplyDeleteSweet photo, he's getting so big.
ReplyDeleteah the level of dislike i have for katy perry- my son (7) said- mom she is "hot sexy babe" WHAT!!!! thank to his new "friend" and a gym teacher who plays the radio "?" - i took care of that- once he was singing all lady gaga songs...led zep and run dmc- sweet sweet boys indeed
ReplyDeleteThis might be my favourite Bob quote ever. And I agree, Katy Perry is scary.
