Hear All the Bombs Fade Away

Paris Gare du Nord Train Station

The last time the Rosenbergs were in Paris was in February of 2007. We traveled by train and stayed in the smallest hotel room I have ever encountered. We could barely fit our suitcases through the door because the door opened into the bed. The room did have its charms, like everything in Paris. J'aime Paris.

Sleepy Baby Bob in the tiniest hotel room in Paris

We were in Paris for the last part of a brief European tour. Mr. Rosenberg, with Lavender Diamond, opened a show for the Decemberists at a club called La Maroquinerie. At the end of the night, both bands joined together, with Mr. R holding baby Bob, and sang a Decemberists song called Sons and Daughters. It's a song about peace.

I wish peace and grace for the people of Paris tonight.

  2. I woke up with such a heavy heart, too. Fell asleep to tears, auggie came in and asked to pray together. I believe light pushes the dark, light pushes the dark, light leaves no room for the dark. Thank you, Lisa.
