Jet Lag, Mostly Lag
I propose that the best way to gauge the extent of one's jet lag is by counting the number of stickers that one's four year-old son can successfully apply to one's usually fresh and dewy face while one is on the phone.
Poor, poor, "one."

To tired to stop the raging onslaught of stickers? I feel for ya!
ReplyDeleteOne, I think you look adorable all lagged and tagged.
ReplyDeleteI always let my children "reorganize" the spices when I was on the phone.
ReplyDeleteSure. That's what they were doing.
Along with the oodles of stickers, you wear jet lag well!

Poor little Christmas Tree.
ReplyDeleteI think you look very attractive.

ReplyDeleteWait--do those cover wrinkles? (grabbing Spongebob sticker book and madly applying them between eyebrows)
ReplyDeleteC'mon, now. If you can get all the way through the paragraph without bailing on the third person, you are no longer jet-lagged. Then again, I don't know how many days passed between the stickerization and the "one" paragraph. Hope I didn't get too fan-girly when I met Bob. He was the highlight of my weekend at BlogHer. Next year, you think he'll get a panel?
ReplyDeleteIf Bob has a panel at the next BlogHer, I am DEFINITELY attending. The variety of sticker subjects is intriguing me... one looks like a child dressed as a fairy?
ReplyDeleteFresh and dewy face, I can't do.
ReplyDeleteHands down, you win.
I've been fighting jet lag too ... but it was worth it!
ReplyDeleteAlso? It was SO nice to meet you!
This photo makes me miss you already. It also reminds me of how my grandmother would wake up in the morning and put a piece of masking tape between her eyebrows for a few hours to get that wrinkle out before "putting on her face." So just think of this as putting on your face, Bob-style.
