Smacksy Halloween Sunday Links
I love It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, especially this scene.
This post on organizing blog, Chaos to Order, explains that the average person receives 41 pounds of junk mail a year. Forty. One. They reveal a way to eliminate, or at least cut down on, the annual mass of junk mail you receive. Bring it on! Or rather, cut it out!
I saw this video everywhere today and by everywhere I mean posted twice on Facebook; I love it. This lion is being reunited with the woman that raised him. Nice lion hugs.
Happy Halloween Sunday.

awww that is so sweet,, but kinda scary at the the same time...
ReplyDeleteI was particularly drawn to Casper the Friendly Ghost in that photo. (I'm just sayin'.)
ReplyDeleteLove the Sunday links. Super fun! Lion hugs to you, too!
Sorry- what? I'm off to rescue a lion. BRB.
ReplyDeleteI saw that clip everywhere too ~ twice on FB just like you. Are we related?
ReplyDeleteWhat are you????
ReplyDeleteHi Bob in a blue suit. Hi tears over a lion hug.
ReplyDelete((miss you!))
oh, goodness, Casper, Casper. I want to cry, I was Casper and I LOVED my mask.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to sleep with it...no lie.
That lion was wonderful, but almost as wonderful was that comment about the newsreader and his dog. In England, they just don't tell us such beautiful anecdotes.
ReplyDeleteYou see, your costume is good. Like the Empress, I also had that Casper costume. But I didn't have such fond feelings about it. As I explained to my kid, it's not a good costume if it has the name of the character and a picture of the character on it's front. Batman doesn't wear a batsuit that screams "Batman" across it, right? And Casper the friendly ghost should not have his own picture on his ghostly little chest.
