In Lieu of Treadmill Photos

I went running for the third time this week. You don't need to see that mess, so here's some nice fruit.

Squashed

We over-bought the little squash seedlings, knowing for sure a few wouldn't make it. We don't really have space for more than two. So far they all look very happy. I'm no farmer but this much I know,  sometime later in summer our house will be eaten by giant, ravenous squash plants. Watch this space.

Buds

Teddy was at the groomer's today, leaving Levi behind at home. Levi was sad and listless and missing his pal all afternoon. A lot. Like a lot, a lot. Above is the before photo of the saddest brown dog.

When Teddy finally arrived home, it was a chaotic mess of reckless jumping and dog hugs and butt sniffing.

They're inseparable. Obviously. And there's a pretty handsome guy with a new haircut here. The other guy is pretty handsome too.

Smacksy Sunday Links

The new Rosenberg family portrait

How to revisit the ghosts of your past.

Science has figured out why you love the smell of old books.

This dreamy honeymoon in the countryside.

A factory that processes your dandelion wishes.

And a baby sea otter sleeping on his mama.

Happy Sunday.

Smacksy Saturday Photo: The Cone Continues

Levi has developed a sympathy limp but only when Teddy is in the room.
