My Ladies And A Book

This is a photo of me, my mom, and her mom, my Gram Melva. We took this photo on a Mother's Day weekend trip to Cambria in 1996. If you've had the opportunity to read my piece in the Moms Are Nuts humor anthology, then you are already quite familiar with my Gram Melva. If you have not read the Moms Are Nuts book yet, stop with the waiting. Leave a comment below and I will choose one of you guys at random and send you a free book. I will post the winner on Saturday.

  2. I'd love a real, honest to goodness, paper book because even though I own this on Kindle, I'll probably never read it unless it's paper. I just buy the Kindle versions to provide early support to all you writers then find a paper copy to read later. Do I have a better chance of winning if I leave a really long comment? Because I can keep typing it that would help my chances. Lots of nervous energy and it's gotta go somewhere.

  3. I love this picture. You look exactly the same!
Except not in sepia tone or with a crazy hat:)

  4. We have a family portrait from a vacation to Arizona where we took a very similar costumed photo. I'm sure I was wearing the same hat as your mom!
