It's Finished

The New Version 

When we moved into our house three years ago, the back porch was a mess. The previous owner had used it for storage and a place for her cats to hang out. It was a wood frame covered in chicken wire. Hanging from the center of the ceiling was a frosted, 1970s dinner-plate-sized light fixture with dead moths resting on it. There were tweety bird stickers and American flag decals stuck to the screen door. We didn't hang out there much.

Yesterday, our favorite handyman/carpenter/electrician/plumber/gardener/fantastic/magic person - Mr. Jerry, finished re-doing the porch.
