Mr. Rosenberg is out of town so we celebrated Hannukah with him on Facetime. Mr. R sang the Hebrew blessing into his phone while standing outside of a bowling alley in Seattle. I couldn't find the menorah candles so we used birthday candles. It was a slapped together first night, but the lights shine brightly just the same.

Hanukkah Night One

Whatever works, right? :)
ReplyDeleteOur first night ended in tears when my 15 month old realized there was no challa to eat after saying the candle blessings. Doing Shabbat on Friday evenings really set us up to fail at Hannukah. Ha! I've got a challa dough rising now, so fingers crossed night two goes better than one.
Fresh challa sounds amazing. Happy Hanukkah! Xo
