On the Loose
"So, Mom? This tooth is really, really, really, loose."
"It's incredible, honey."
"Where does the Tooth Fairy live?"
"I don't know. Where do you think?"
"Maybe in a cloud?"
"That sounds good."
"And I know she must have pets."
"Why is that?"
"She needs a dog and a cat to get all the doggy and kitty teeth."

For my first grade oral presentation, we had to write about what we wanted to be when we grew up and I said the tooth fairy, because she helped little kids fall asleep by reading them stories and she wore a beautiful pink dress. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks about the intricacies of the tooth fairies' job!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeletePerfectly logical to have doggy and kitty tooth fairies. LOL
ReplyDeleteI used to think the Tooth Fairy lived in the stars and all the stars were the teeth she collected... and sometimes she made castles from them. Seriously.
The Kitty Tooth Fairy. I have to tell my daughter, she'll flip over that concept.
ReplyDeleteAh, a loose tooth... one more step toward growing up. Sweetness.
ReplyDeleteI love that you ask him what he thinks the answers to his questions are.
