"Mom? The kids at school really don't respect old people."

"What do you mean? Which old people?"

"I mean really old - like the first graders that are already seven."

    Ha! I remember this way of thinking so well. At certain points of my life I thought junior high kids were over the hill, then college kids, then I wondered if I was going to be too old to go out on New Year's Eve 2000.
