He Was Thinking...
"Mom? If I had all of the Star Wars Legos I would be sad."
"Why?"
"Because if I had so many I'd need another, bigger house."
"Good point."
"I like this house."
"Me too."
"I want to hold your hand, Mom."

I would love to peek into the future and see what Bob Rosenberg is going to be like as a man and a husband and a father. I suspect he will be mighty fine at all those things.
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll be returning all the Star Wars Legos.
ReplyDeleteI really don't want you to move either.
xoxo
Re: the title -- he certainly was. He always is, and that's what you capture so simply and perfectly. And that's why I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteBob is a smart boy.
ReplyDeleteThat is priceless. Mostly because I can't imagine either of my kids uttering the words 'I'd be sad if I had all the Star Wars Legos'.
ReplyDeleteThat's not fair. My "little ones" are about to move away and go to college. I want a Bob. Where can I get a Bob?
ReplyDeletei want to hold your hand- keep these times into memory for they will be gone very soon.
ReplyDeleteBut I bet he's pulled out a protractor to figure out just how many Star Wars Legos he could stockpile before you'd have to move.
ReplyDeleteYou will have to at least add on to your house. We had Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninza Turtles and Thundercats. There were lots of turtles and Thundercats. Sigh. Good times. Give Bob a squeeze for me.
