Tiny Grampa at the Doctor

"So, Bob? Tell the doctor what's been going on."

"I've been having tummy aches all the time..."

"After checking you out and talking to you some more, I think you need to be eating more fruits and vegetables and getting more roughage."

"See Mom? I told you it wasn't the dairy, it's the fiber."

  1. See, Bob. You need to eat that squash Mom gives you, even if you are super-awesome. :)

  2. Isn't it time for Bob to get his own apartment?

    1. One would think so. For now, he's sticking with this assisted living.

  3. Auggie loved this. We've gone through the same thing: just had a Dr visit last week. He needs more roughage: HAS to eat the fruits and veggies.

Please tell Bob to tell Auggie that his Dr. told him the same thing.

    He must be right.

  4. Forget his own apartment. He needs his own agent.

  5. AWESOME!! I'm determined to start making smoothies with kale and spinach alongside fruit. By "determined" I mean the blender I bought has been sitting in the box for two weeks.

  6. I only have this to say: Mission Whole Wheat Large Burrito size tortillas. 20-something grams of fiber EACH. My daughter and I have one for breakfast everyday with peanut butter and honey and/or jelly. Has made all the difference for my daughter's "tummy".

  7. Does he drink smoothies, Lisa? Ground flaxseed is tasteless and goes through you like a $3 Indian buffet deal. Godspeed, Bob.

  8. Chia seeds also have lots of protein and other stuff that's good for you!

  9. And don't forget cherries! Almost like candy. Will definitely cure any constipation woes. :)
