Smacksy is Six


Saturday will be six years that I have been writing in this space every day. I am welling up thinking about it. Whether you've been here since the beginning or are just joining me, I thank you. This place is where I come to remember the big and little moments I experience with my family. It has also become a place where I have met some of my very favorite people. I have so much gratitude for this whole process. Writing here has given me more than I could have ever expected.

My family is my home. Smacksy is my home. You guys are my home. I thank you.

    I read you every day too, watching your family grow from across the country has been a pleasure. It's funny how you can come to genuinely care about people you've never met.
    I HAVE to ask...Where did the name "Smacksy" come from?
