Luke, I Am Your Father

This is Jeff in his dorm room back in his second year in college. Please note: futon, batik wall-covering, and most importantly the pillowcase. The Star Wars pillowcase. It covers his pillow not in a funny, ironic way but in a Star Wars-is-the-greatest-movie-ever-I-am-a-mathematics-major kind of way.

Our son now lays his sweet head on an identical pillowcase every night.

You can't fight genetics.

  1. Wow, the apple doesn't fall far. . .Hopefully Bob will get that gift for math. No such gifts here. I get lost splitting a check.

  2. Be still my heart. Bob could join me in the wonderful world of numbers some day. I'll be the wrinkly old broad mumbling to herself in the cubicle next to his.

  10. terry- fine arts major, still counts on his fingers, and is arguably the biggest star wars nerd in the world. ahem. in line behind someone else, that is.

also, neve asked who that was and i told her that it was mr. jeff, the nice guy who ate a burger with us a little while ago.

and she said (and i quote), "tell bob that his dad had hair."
