My Little Old Man
"Mom? Can I please have a cup of water?"
"Sure."
"Cold water?"
"Okay."
"Is this cold with ice?"
"I can put ice in it, if you like."
"I only drink ice-cold water, Mom. That's how I take my water."

Water on the rocks... make mine a double... it's been a rough day.
ReplyDeleteI like mine straight up. Shaken, not stirred.
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather used to ask my brother if he wanted "refrigerated water" or "wet water," which came from the tap. The inference was that REAL men just drank the wet water.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why that will forever be lodged in my head.
Bob is a boy of discerning tastes.
ReplyDeleteThe cool thing about Bob is that he can be counted on to tip a solid 20% even when you forget his "usual."
ReplyDelete;-) A.
He will also require a special wardrobe: Powder blue polyester pants up to his nipples with a white belt and matching shoes.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was like gradydoctor's "Shaken, not stirred."
ReplyDeleteI love this Bob more and more with every post....
