"Hey, Mom? Where's my imagination?"
"It's inside your head."
"Is it very, very huge and gigantic?"
"I think yours is, yes."
"How does it fit inside there?"
"It's in your brain. Your brain can fit a lot."
"Yeah. There's a lot of stuff in there. Like it has The Battle of Endor, and the Jingle Bells song and those little ice cream sandwiches we had yesterday for snack. And also a horse."
"That is a lot."
"Yeah."
I think Bob's imagination is just the right size. Lisa, you should become a children's author. The material on Bob alone could fill a library. He's great.

always makes me smile!
ReplyDeletehe reminds me of a talking "curious george" Oh to have that sweetness in your life daily!
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonder our heads don't explode. Don't tell Bob I said that.
ReplyDeleteI would like to carry Bob in my pocket forever too. Maybe your whole family.
ReplyDeleteVery, very gigantic!
ReplyDeleteTo think, this is just a snippet of what goes on behind those eyes...
ReplyDeleteBob is just brilliant. I swear, everytime I read one of your blogs I smile.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Asha...you should consider writing children's books.

Tell Mr. B he has terabytes and terabytes of storage in there.
ReplyDeleteJust don't muck it up with lyrics to Justin Beiber songs.
Eventually, he will get to the stage that I am at where I have information overload and some of it has seeped out my ears and down my neck. This is the reason why I can't remember lots of things. But, thankfully, our Bob has a long way to go. He still has plenty of room in his almost 5-year-old brain.
ReplyDeletehaha that's awesome. my little brother had a scan of his head one time (after running into a brick wall) and upon viewing the largely scaled up image he said "Oh my GOD my brain is SO HUGE"
ReplyDeletehe has a good memory. i love that kid
ReplyDeletejust spit out a bit of coffee laughing, thanks!
