Train of Thought
"Mom? Who's under that costume of Santa? Does Santa sleep in that or does he have Santa underpants and pajamas? Does he sleep or is he just awake all the time with the lists? Why is it so long until December? When did Yoda die? Did you see Daisy smiling? Dogs do smiling."

Kris Kringle. No, red long johns. 1 hour per night. To make you giddy with anticipation. Never he is always in your heart. Yes. Agreed.
ReplyDeleteNow I want some Santa underwear.
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you get the answers to those questions. I have an almost 4 year old here who has raised similar questions. Unfortunately, the five year old has now moved on to: "It makes no sense for Santa to be able to go ALL OVER the EVERY WHERE all in one night with ALL THE TOYS in that sleigh. I don't know about that, Mom." I tell him that the toys are like those little things that expand when you drop them in water that turn into dinosaurs. That's how Santa can carry all the toys. He also asked, "How does he get down the chimney with that belly?" I told him that Santa goes on a diet every year and is very, very lean and skinny on Christmas eve. Then on Christmas day he eats so much macaroni and cheese and cake and turkey and dressing that his tummy gets round again. (Whew!)
ReplyDeleteThat seems to have held him over for a few weeks. Will keep you posted.
Ohh! I have been waiting for a post like this. Pleaae follow it up with some answers because I have been waiting a heck of a long time to find out when Yoda died.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I suspect his death has something to do with Santa's skivvies.

I never thought about that before. I'm going with the Santa underpants and pajamas because it makes me smile. Like Daisy would.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm.
ReplyDeleteMostly I love "Dogs do smiling."
And Bob Rosenberg. I love him.
I'm going with the Santa underpants.
ReplyDeleteJust found you. You're wonderful.
Readers do smiling, too. :)
ReplyDeleteMy mind works just like Bob's. But, I blame the drugs.
ReplyDeleteIt's always hard when kids start asking questions you don't know how to answer right away. Great post!

i never did believe in santa- stopped when i was 5. he's pretty smart too. how old is he?
ReplyDeleteI love your post! I just started my own handcrafted bath company. My nephew asked me if I was going to leave Santa some soap instead of cookies this year. He said "It's a good thing I make soap because Santa needs to get clean from going down all those chimneys and I should make a lot so he can clean his big belly" :0
ReplyDeleteSanta underpants, bwahahaha :D I want to talk to Bob myself!
ReplyDeleteBob, come talk to Baby E. He has big questions I can't answer. xo
ReplyDeleteSanta has red pajamas with Raindeers and Candy canes:)
